I forgot to mention that sometimes (no idea for what reason) some sent mail is stuck in the local outbox and flagged as important after being sent. I have to unflag it and "send unsent messages" in order to force it to leave. There is also a pop-up box saying something about a NOOP operation (sorry forgot to copy&paste it).
It just happened to me on the previous mail...
