Yes: $ dpkg -p libglib2.0-0|grep Version Version: 2.10.3-0ubuntu1
These functions were only added in glib 2.12, but the sources request at least 2.10, which is actually a bug... Can you try the attached trivial patch? It *should* fix your problem.
