It is not only India, and not only half hour.
Burma/Myanmar = +6:30 ; Nepal = +5:45 ; Afghanistan = +4:30
Iran = +3:30 ; Newfoundland, Canada = -3:30
(Only another ~ 2 * 10**8 people)
