FWIW: I tried building Balsa with the internal spell checker, and I commented
out the line in src/sendmsg-window.c:
enchant_broker_free(broker);
and the SEGV went away, at the cost of leaking the EnchantBroker. So if you
really have to live with enchant-1.6.1 and can live without GSpell, that might
provide a way.
But why Balsa has this problem while other apps and the test program do not
quite escapes me.
