No problem at all, thanks for pushing! Actually, the behaviour on error can be improved: Even when a timeout error occurs, the object destructor for POP3 and SMTP will try to /logically/ finalise the connection. Typically, this will again wait for the timeout to expire which is a waste of time. I will fix that… Thanks, Albrecht.
