If anyone is interested - there is also a program to check for blocked sites. It's available at http://freeyemenportal.org/ and it might be easier to use for some than the TRACEROUTE command. I believe it also works in Linux.
I wonder if that site would also be willing to get involved in the Bangladesh censorship? I'll bet they would. I would also suggest checking islamictube. In fact, I'm thinking that maybe some of us can help by posting youtubes there, or even on other sites so that everyone can see them. mosharraf khan wrote: > It may be true as one of my poet friend inform me few days ago that he > couldn't access international news sites. > > I strongly request the concern authority please not to do it. > > Mosharraf Khokon > > --- On *Sun, 3/8/09, Mohammad Basirul Haq Sinha > /<[email protected]>/* wrote: > > > From: Mohammad Basirul Haq Sinha <[email protected]> > Subject: [bangla-vision] Censorship: Bangladesh Government > monitoring and blocking the YouTube & eSnips > To: [email protected] > Date: Sunday, March 8, 2009, 8:52 AM > > > Internet Censorship: Bangladesh Government monitoring and > blocking the YouTube and eSnips > > > Posted by: "BdOsint 24/7" bdosintowner@ gmail.com > > </mc/[email protected]&Subject=%20Re%3AInternet%20Censorship%3A%20Bangladesh%20Government%20monitoring%20and%20blocking%20t> > > > > Sat Mar 7, 2009 5:34 pm (PST) > > *[BdOsint Monitors Comments: We most regrettably confirm that the > Bangladesh Government is intercepting and blocking YopuTube and > eSnips]* > > * This is month of our Freedom, Bangladesh Govt is taking their > hand over > freedom of Internet.
