Yes, indeed she is a Muslim - and that's what confuses me so much. Why on earth - why did they kidnap a Muslimah? Not only is she a Muslim but she is a woman? Now I thought that kidnapping Muslim women was extremely looked down upon. How does any group professing to be Muslim think they will have the respect of ANYONE after doing this? I admit that I am a relatively new Muslim - only 3 1.2 years... but this seems to me to be common sense...
Yes it's true that horrible crimes are being committed in Iraq, Afghanistan and especially Palestine... but then if we do the same thing - what does that make us? Further, what does it make us look like to people who already want to consider all Muslims terrorists?
