I agree Lara - that's the issue. It's either the dirt poor or the rich, but the biggest percentage of the united states has no insurance and no medical. They are the backbone of the economy, too, so it truly makes no sense whatsoever.
Have either of you checked into the Green Party? I'm way beyond fed up with the two-party system - and have been for many years. Mental issues, however, are quite real, and cannot be ignored. You see.. they have been in recent years - and that fact has contributed to the rise in numbers of the homeless.
