A vaccine cannot be mandatory in the US. I seriously doubt that it can be mandatory in the UK, or the EU either. They cannot force anyone to take it. The most that could happen is your insurance could require it - but even then, I don't think they could. We do have some rights.
So far the closest they can do to mandatory immunizations is school children.. and I'll homeschool before I'll get flu shots for the kids..
