Anindya has infact started the idea by looking for people who can make
gnome in Bangla. But he is not in touch right now.

Can U please announce this [Bangla Penguin] project in Kolkata group.
May be more people will join in. In October I am going to Kolkata - Can
we have a meeting?

Would love to receive it. Infact I was talking to Atanu for a FAQ page
in the [Bangla Penguin] site. We woould like to have many people who are
not aware about GPL or Open Source or Linux. But their support would be
very crucial. The other day I was responding to a mail of Sandip and
saying that Bangla Is a much more complex language (gramatically). We
need people who may not be aware of GPL or Linux but sound in literature.

Sure...if we have the font - we can start experimenting. Some real thing
should happen to kickstart the campaign. I am approaching CDAT here to
use the font developed by them. Most probably it is named "Durga".

Thanks.
