I think it is based on qt. mainly because sun has pourd in a lot of cash in it. and 
it's not possible to make closed source code out of gtk code . I read an article on 
linuxtoday about  why sun uses qt. so that they can realease at staroffice. I am not 
too sure. But I advise you check it.
