Lets not have names like adda please. We all know how that turns on bengalis. ;) Lets name it something like users- or general- or bengali translations of them thereof. Mails to this list should have something to do with Linux in atleast some vague stretched way.
Totally my personal opinion, this.
support implies commitment. While the tech folks here are working on stuff with02. mailing list name : [support] for all who do not feel comfortable in the present [Bangla Penguin] list or want to ask any stupid (so called) question. For subscription mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'subscribe support' in the subject/body. For discussions mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
as much personal effort that they can, this shouldn't give others the impression that
they have the right to support. This issue has happened to the ILUGD mailing list before.
People had been _demanding_ support from the list members. It should be emphasised that
this is purely a volunteer effort.
Names like devel- are perhaps more appropriate.
This does seem to be a nice name for the list. I wish the other had as good names.03. mailing list name : [anubad] for translation of help files etc. Many people are there who do want to contribute by translating the files which is a very big job. For subscription mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 'subscribe anubad' in the subject/body. For discussions mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
