Very sure about the overnight deal. This is really what makes Barcamp and you simply have to experience it to fully appreciate it. BoF sessions and code sprints and general getting to know people you would never otherwise have the chance to know this well in an intimate environment make Barcamp what it was always intended to be and makes participation go WAY up. I think we'll have closer to a hundred or so overnighters - could be more. But the point is moot if we don't get a locale as John points out.
I wish I had the contacts to get these venues signed up but we're really dependent on you all who have ideas and connections to people that can nail this down for us. If someone has spoken against your favorite locale that you think is appropriate don't worry about it. Please just go contact the people who could make it available for us and find out what they need to make it happen.
