I talked with Sripatum University on Friday. They have reserved their facilities and will provide considerable support for us for Barcamp Bangkok 4 and have give us a date we can use the facility of May 22-23.
Before we accept that date and make an official announcement, I want to know: are there any major events or major roadblocks for that date? I know no date will be the best date for EVERYBODY, but as long as there is not some major event or some obvious problem with the date, I am inclined to go with it. Finding a facility that is willing to sponsor us as well as Sripatum has is very, very hard to find. As for how we hold Barcamp--that is a discussion we can have at the first organizers meeting which we can arrange after we confirm the date.
