HellO Manfred,

just tried to schedule at a specified time in bareos master and in 12.4.6, and
it works:

*version

time at 17-Jun-14 09:47
====

After the start time was reached, the backup started:

17-Jun 09:47 gonzo.bareos.com-dir JobId 3: Start Backup JobId 3,
Job=BackupClient1.2014-06-17_09.46.01_05
17-Jun 09:47 gonzo.bareos.com-dir JobId 3: Created new Volume
"Incremental-0002" in catalog.
17-Jun 09:47 gonzo.bareos.com-dir JobId 3: Using Device "FileStorage" to write.

[...]

So in principle that works.

It would be interesting if you can connect to your director with an new console
or if that also gets
stuck.

Does this backup work if you do not try to schedule it later but start it right
away?

You could try to start the daemons with higher debug level (e.g.500) and look
into the output, maybe
we can find out what hangs.

Best regards,

Philipp
