How do I need to set retention times, if I want the following:
Basicly: I want to restore anything in 3 years
- in 2 weeks from D2D FileVolume
- over 2 weeks: from D2T Tape
now the following is set:
DiskBackup pools has 14d volume retention
Tape pools has 3y Volume retention
Clients has 3y Job and File retention to keep the job
What I want to:
Every day, last night D2D jobs copied to Tape (Jobtype=Copy)
Over 1w D2D jobs purged from DB, reuse D2D volumes
So in another words: Restore anything back to 3 years, for two weeks
keep and restore from local copy, over 2 weeks restore from tape
