Hi,
I just started playing with bareos today and everything seems to be running
fine except this issue.
Local backup of the bareos server itself runs completely ok.
Backing up a remote system (over the internet) seems to be running perfectly
fine too, except that the director does not see when the backup is finished.
When I use the console to check the status of the backup, both the client and
the storage server say the job is completed successfully, but the director
still shows a "running" status. (Below I have included an output of status all.)
The bareos server (Baryon) sits at home and the remote system (Duckstad) is on
the internet. I use port forwarding (9101, 9102, 9203) and I am storing the
backups on disk.
The log file (including the systemd logs) do not show anything irregular. I've
reinstalled everything twice and every time I get the exact same issue.
It must be something I am not configuring correctly that makes the director
unable to "finalize" a job, I guess, but I am at a loss to figure out what I am
doing wrong...
Any hints or tips would be greatly appreciated!
