A short summary: this have been a bug, that did never affect bareos.org/bareos.com packages, as these are build against openssl, while the debian.org packages are build against gnutls (because of some debian policies). Therefore this problem could also not been detected by our automated testings, as we only test against our default compile options. I'd like to thank Bruno, that he have already clarified some things. One thing I like to add: I definitively don't like to be compared with "Bacula Systems S.A.". Everything we do is 100% Open Source. We do our best to bring the project forward and also do the maintaining and bugfixing of older releases. But all of us also got bills to pay and therefore also other things to do.
