This is very likely a configuration mismatch, see ssl=0|ssl=4 in the handshake protocol below. This happens beause new clients have TlsEnable = true by default.

Anyway, please check out upcoming 18.2.4rc2 in the next weeks with improvements and documentation that should help you solving this issue.
