On that note - is there any "blessed" way to migrate existing installation from MySQL to Postgres? I can easily google some not-very-official recipes for bacula but are there any advices for bareos?

(and any more reasonable way to migrate than "export everything to csv and pull that csv into Postgres"?)

Best regards,

MK

Hi,

first of all: please do not use MySQL. The Backend is supported, but for
new Installations PostgreSQL is strongly preferred, as it provides much
better performance and is more thoroughly tested.
