In addition, there is also this error :

16-oct. 18:48 scribe-dir JobId 6: Fatal error: TLS read/write failure.: ERR=error:1408F119:SSL routines:ssl3_get_record:decryption failed or bad record mac

To summarize, I get these errors :
ERR=error:1408F119:SSL
ERR=error:14094438:SSL
ERR=error:1409E10F:SSL

I've searched for these errors but I didn't find a solution.

P.S. : I don't get back my own email sent to this mailing list, in Thunderbird the thread is missing my messages. Is there an option somewhere to get own messages like in Sympa ? (this time I went to "Sent", selected my own email and clicked "Answer", I hope mailing list will see the same message ID)

Hello.

On several servers running :
* Ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS (focal)
* Bareos Version: 20.0.0-1 (16 December 2020)

I get following error. BTW these logs were generated with "-dt -d 99 -f" options, I didn't add "-v".

b-dir.log:20-déc.-2023 15:06:41.648828 scribe-dir (50): lib/crypto_openssl.cc:1602-20 jcr=7fd7980156e0 TLS read/write failure.: ERR=error:14094438:SSL routines:ssl3_read_bytes:tlsv1 alert internal error

The configuration looks like this :
bareos-dir.conf https://pastebin.com/PHiqT5z3
bareos-sd.conf https://pastebin.com/HT1G2F49
bareos-fd.conf https://pastebin.com/pWtsNGX2

I get this error on servers that are not on the same location. Actually some of them are approximately at the other side of the planet from others.

What is surprising is that this only seems to happen with incremental and differential backups. Full backups run fine.

What do you think about that ?

I can provide more informations if needed.

Thank you. Regards.
  Klaas
