I'm not sure that dynamics is such a problem. Ever played the harpsichord (the instrument the Goldbergs were written for)?
As for phrasing...Adam says that this video is just a snapshot of work in progress. He is working on the entire theme and variations. He will learn a lot about Bach along the way, as we all do, and Bach challenges us in ways we could never predict. I say good luck to Adam, and I hope to hear and see his interpretation in a couple of years time. I'm sure Bach would be fascinated...
