If you can get to Philadelphia next Friday or Saturday night, May 12 & 13, Richard Stone and Tempesta di Mare are performing Toeschi's Concerto for Lute, 2 Violins, 2 Horns, 2 Flutes, Viola, Cello, and Kitchen Sink Obligatto. This may be a world premere. ( If anyone has solid evidence that this piece has ever been performed anywhere, bring it along. I'd love to see.) As well, they are performing orchestral works of Haydn, Telemann, and, two of S.L. Weiss' co-conspirators, Pisendel and Zelenka. Here's the kicker. FREE CONCERT. I made up the kitchen sink part. There may be another major appliance onstage though.
