Thought it sounded familiar. A lot of basic thematic material was circulated around. Is it from a keyboard solo? If so, which one? I've been enjoying W.F.'s Polonaises on clavichord lately. Speaking of Falckenhagen...I am now listening to what I believe to be the single most incredible piece of lute music ever written...Falckenhagen's Preludio nel quale sono contenuti tutti i tuoni musicali, as performed by Paul Beier.Stunning in content and display. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Roman Turovsky" <r.turov...@verizon.net>

Has anyone noticed that the Tempo Giusto in Falkenhagen's g-minor Sonata is written on a menuet theme by W.F.Bach (also used by C.P.E.Bach and the "S")?
