Dear baroque lutenists, do you have any idea of the dating of the A-KR ms. L 83 (Library: Kremsmünster, Benediktiner-Stift Kremsmünster, Regenterei oder Musikarchiv). There in this ms. is the famous(?) lute version of the Passacaille by Biber. His violin version was printed first time already in 1676. The Kremsmuenster ms. is perhaps at least a little later, perhaps quite much, but how much really? Any research of that ms.? Or even opinions?
Thanks in advance for any tiny bit of info! Arto To get on or off this list see list information at http://www.cs.dartmouth.edu/~wbc/lute-admin/index.html
