Hello,

I am new to using barry. I have a Pearl and I have compiled from the .12
source packages. I was reading through the list and noticed that when
compiling and installing barry that it is supposed to install a udev script
in /etc/udev/rules.d I dont' have this script though I do see it included
with the source package. I am not expert with udev as is quite obvious and
copied the scripts from the souce directory to the one aforementioned.
Doesn't seem that udev is picking up the device and running the script so
that the pearl stays in charge mode. Any suggestions did i compile and
install incorrectly? I am running Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn.

After thought. I did use "checkinstall" when installing barry. Would that
have anything to do with the udev scripts not working or not showing up in
the directory?

Thank your for your time.
