Well turns out that this announcement is not as a big a one as it could have 
and should have been :(  I talked to the manager in charge of the project and 
there is a good reason why its actually called a Technology preview, they've 
only released a subset of the tools.  JavaLoader may or may not be there in 
full form, but there is NO simulator :(  The expectation is 3-4 months from now 
we will see a beta that includes a Simulator.  So I think this was a lame 
effort by BB to appease some people, but did not go nearly far enough.

It was quite funny, as the guy tried to pitch to me that it really required a 
lot of work as they had to port their Java VM to Mac.  When I told him that I 
built Java VM's for Sun for a living up until 2 months ago and that trying to 
get sympathy from me on how hard it was to port was not going to work, he 
admitted that it was not as much as they would like to have released :)
