Thank you! After reinstalling python-lxml from EPEL and updating Django to version 1.04 everything except adding new entries to the Whitelist/Blacklist is working fine.
For all others running CentOS 5.4: The package python-lxml is offered by rpmforge Repository too. You have to install the package from EPEL to use Baruwa.
