Well, it's the same as with other authentications, if the username is
different than the real email adress, then the user will only see his emails
if you add his real email address in the additional email adresses.
There's a feature request (no. 34) about this (raised by me) that was
accepted to be implemented in the milestone 2.0

So until then you need to add the user email adresses manually :(
