I confirm having the same issue as in here
http://baruwa-users-list.963389.n3.nabble.com/MS-init-script-td3461748.html
with
Centos6 x64 + postfix 2.6.6 + MailScanner provided in Baruwa's repo
(version 4.84.3) and followed the centos install documentation on baruwa's
website.
Generally speaking, I have to start the mailscanner by invoking the
"check_MailScanner" command or the "/etc/init.d/mailscanner restart"
command as mentioned in the link provided by me above.
As far as I see as well is that the "check_MailScanner" commad (with the
capital letters as there's a second one with lower cases) is in the
/etc/cron.hourly folder... so maybe as a funny workaround we should make a
cron that will fire the command every minute :P (joking)
Let's hope Andrew or someone will find a solution to this annoying issue.
Thanks,
Anis
