Yes, I recognised that wasn't a great idea.

Further up the tree is where the issue is, even though the permissions are
correct.  an ls on /var/spool/MailScanner using celeryd works fine, but ls
on /var/spool/MailScanner/quarantine returns permission denied despite
celeryd having permission on that folder.

App armor is not logging anything, I've looked in the apparmor directory,
in syslog and it shows nothing.
