Hi All, I have implemented Active directory external authentication support for Baruwa 1.1.x based on the code provided by Theo Schroeder[1]
The implementation cleans up the code and allows for configuration of domains via the web interface.[2] There is a few limitations at the moment for us in multi tenant environments as the search DN can not be defined from with in the web interface and is configured via the settings file. Please find attached a patches to enable this feature. The settings are well commented so you shouldn't have a problem configuring. If you can please test and provide feedback.
