That should relate to MailScanner TNEF settings (if you're relay is kicking back the message). Try configuring:
Expand TNEF = no Of other importance: Use TNEF Contents = no Deliver Unparsable TNEF = yes TNEF Expander = internal All should be in your MailScanner.conf. I'm still expanding TNEF contents on my install (in a primarily Outlook+Exchange environment), but I had to change the TNEF Expander to internal (originally: /opt/MailScanner/bin/tnef). I have configured it to allow emails out from my internal mail server, which most of the time is fine except when I send to a Hotmail address I am getting the following message: Our virus detector failed to completely analyse a message you sent:- To: h*******[email protected]<mailto:h*******[email protected]> Subject: School Meals Date: Tue Feb 26 16:40:05 2013 Any parts of the message that could not be analysed will not have been delivered. If you are using Microsoft Outlook, we strongly recommend you change your outgoing message format from "Rich Text" to "HTML" or "Plain Text". 1) Click on the "Tools" menu and choose "Options..." 2) Go to the "Mail Format" tab 3) For message format, select "HTML" or "Plain text" 4) Click OK The virus detector said this about the message: Report: Report: Could not parse Outlook Rich Text attachment I have checked that the message is being written in HTML and not Rich Text and emails to other domains don't seem effected. Any ideas? Ta, Rod.
