There is a fix for this already in the HEAD branch.

Works for me, what mail client do you get the issue in ?

This is easily fixed its because the first time the command was run as root and
it created the mako templates owned by root when you run it later as baruwa
it fails because of the permissions on the templates.

chown -R baruwa.baruwa /var/lib/baruwa/data/templates
should fix it.
