You don't need to have either to get solid master-master replication working... Just use the native replication... here's a nice guide: http://0wned.it/geek-bits/guides/mysql-multi-master-replication/
FYI -- I'd suggest keeping 'binlog_format = mixed' when configuring... I had it set as 'row' for a while, but SQLgrey doesn't like that very much. You *will* want some solid monitoring for the slave status of each server [if using master-master]. I use check_mk agents on both alongside the mysql_status plugin (http://exchange.check-mk.org/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=59&func=fileinfo&id=57)... I use Percona, but only for hot mysql backups... to keep them revolving, I use log rotate with innobackupex-1.5.1. Is there a certain objective you need to accomplish with tungsten or percona? -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Carlos R Laguna Sent: Monday, March 25, 2013 2:29 PM To: Baruwa users list Subject: Re: [Baruwa] Baruwa mysql replication needs El 22/03/13 18:57, Carlos R Laguna escribió: > Hi everyone i was about the create a mysql replication multi-master > and then i star wandering if any application like tungsten-replicator > o percona is encourage for this matter?Thank for your time and work. > > Carlos R Laguna. > JCCE > > _______________________________________________ > Keep Baruwa FREE - http://pledgie.com/campaigns/12056 > Can anyone give me a feedback on this one ?Thank for your time and work Carlos R Laguna JCCE _______________________________________________ Keep Baruwa FREE - http://pledgie.com/campaigns/12056 _______________________________________________ Keep Baruwa FREE - http://pledgie.com/campaigns/12056
