Change that to False, and Django will display a standard 404 > page. The Version you are using does not really provide a search function, the search box is just a message lookup box. You need to provide the actual message ID there and you should find the message > Is there other way to see what happened with the message? If you are able to locate it in the web interface you should be able to see what actions were taken.
