Yes, this is a mailscanner issue, and the maintainer of mailborder is the new 
maintainer of mailscanner. 
and he did fix the mailscanner issue. 

Just extract the tar.gz, and DONT run the install. 
read the UPGRADE file. 
backup the mentiont folders. 

Some my changes, created symlinks: 
in /etc/MailScanner 
custom -> /usr/share/MailScanner/MailScanner/CustomFunctions/
CustomConfig.pm -> /usr/share/MailScanner/MailScanner/CustomConfig.pm

and a few more, but cant see, that back. cleared my history. (sorry) 
but they where really simple changes.
