I think I'd be more than happy to offer some hosting space (container, lxc, whatever) on the osmocom infrastructure if anyone wants to create a page with historical data on/about airprobe. This way, chances are high it will remain active/running for as long as the rest of osmocom does. I just don't feel particularly compelled in paying annual domain registration fees for yet another domain, especially if that domain was not used "back in the day" and there are hence no links/URLs to preserve. So IMHO the great work would be collecting information, but we could do that just as well under (e.g.) airprobe.osmocom.org without incurring extra cost. In any case, if you want to take ownership of airprobe.org, it is of course entirely up to you to decide what you'd want to do there. Whether you'd want to host that on your own or on osmocom infrastructure.
