No, we are not planning to implement this at the moment.
I'm also looking through the docs on the web and see that the 1.2->2.x migrate
script requires a pristine BASE 1 schema version 1.2.15. (see

That seems strange because surely many people are using BASE 1.2.17 with
schema version 1.2.20. Also, does "pristine" allow customised reporter and
raw data columns? I guess it does, and if not, modifying the migrate program
can't be too hard.
Our aim is that the migration should work with the latest released BASE
1.2.x. However, we have not worked on the migration tool for some time
now, so it is possible that this is not true at this particalur moment.
The migration program assumes that the reporter and raw data columns
haven't been customised.
