I remember that this has been mentioned by other a long time ago and had 
the impression that this was fixed. Obviously this is not the case. I 
guess we should do something about it for the next release. But I think 
there is a workaround.

1. In the 'Select file to import' dialog, select the radio button for 
the file you want to replace.
2. Click on the 'Delete' button. This will put the file in the trashcan 
and if you enable the 'Removed' option in the 'view/preset' dropdown 
list you can still see the file.
3. Upload the new file. It should overwrite the existing file and it 
will no longer be marked as 'removed'.
