Hi Huib,

Thanks, I will look into YAJSW, it seems like a pretty straight forward way of
doing it, I'll write back with my findings!

Best regards,

Sam

Subject: Re: [basex-talk] BaseX as a Windows Service

Hi Sam,

I don't know about any special tricks BaseX has up it's sleeve, but I have had
succes running Solr, BigData and other Java server apps as a Windows service
using YAJSW. It's fairly easy to accomplish. There are other applications that
can run Java apps as a Windows Service for you as well.

Is there a possibility to install BaseX server as a service under Windows?

The -S switch to start BaseX in the background is nice, however a proper
windows service would be even better!

Anyone that has accomplished this?

Hartelijke groet,
