Mr. Grun, I downloaded and tested the latest BaseX 12.0 beta 2686758. Tested it, everything is working as expected.
I completely concur with your decision on "the default SAX parser will now be chosen to parse XML, no matter which other parsers are found in the classpath". It is a prudent choice. Regards, Yitzhak Khabinsky
