I can think of only one goal right now for us in the series. Thats to
win this region. Hopefully that would mean taking out everyone, puppet
slow tandem quiet, over the course of the series. Last year lucas had me
training like my life would end if we didn't make natties. This year
I've been a little flaky, especially of late, but I'm gonna step up my
training to make that last catch in the finals.

So I don't mean to come off as offensive to you Nat, but your post is
exactly the opposite of what should have been the reply. I
(unfortunately) completely agree with Billy. Right now we don't need
the mentality that "but we have been trying" and "we are ready"
because his point was that we haven't REALLY been trying and that we
can never be too ready for this weekend and the rest of the series.
Obviously some people are putting higher priority into Bashing than
others, and that comes with your own lives. Not everyone has the same
amount time to dedicate to practicing as everyone else, that's a
given. The point is that everyone CAN dedicate just a little more time
to working out their own kinks and flaws and improving their strengths
to make yourselves better (and that includes you.)
As for proving teams wrong on the field, that's a great concept, but
we haven't done it this season all that much, and I feel the reason is
because we haven't tried to prove anything to ourselves yet. Yeah, we
are good, and yeah, we can be great... So why aren't we yet? Compared
to last year, NOBODY has stepped up to where they were last year, let
alone played better. Our chemistry is getting better and always will,
but individually, everyone can be better. I'm pretty sure everyone is
geographically located close to someone else who plays ultimate
(although geography was never my strong point), so go out and throw
hard one extra time before sectionals. Do one more set of sprints. Run
one extra lap. Whatever you have to do to get that hunger back from
last year/get a fire under your asses to prove we made the right
decisions this year (directed at new people).
Don't know how to end this post, so...

P.S. Lucas snuck in his post right in front of mine... bastard
