Clambake Captains,
Dinner is included with your tourney fee - clams, mussels,
corn,
chicken, burgers, dogs, pasta salad, baked beans, Chowda, finger
sandwiches,
and whatever else we come up with. The only thing NOT included is
lobsters.
If you want lobster, they need to be ordered ahead of time, and paid
for on
Saturday with your other fees. They will be between $8 and $10,
depending
on market prices. I don't know the deadline yet, but we probably need
your
final team count by next Wednesday or Thursday. Please email me when
you
know how many you want, you can still try to modify it at the last
minute
and we can usually get it in, but be sure to get your initial order in
by
Wednesday. Please forward this to your team so they have the chance
to get
one!

Camping is also included for free on Saturday. Friday night
camping
is also available for a fee, which we never deal with collecting, but
hope
to this year. It's cheap, like $5 a person or $10 a tent or
something. But
the best part is that this year we're adding a full-blown Friday night
party! Plans are in the work for a live band, we'll definitely have
been,
the glow room will be going, and we may just fire up the hookah lounge
a day
early...
If you think you would like to camp, please email me with an
estimate of numbers and time you might arrive, just so we can be
prepared.
The camp/party site is about an hour from the fields. I'll send
directions
and details later.

Also, the tourney fee is $450, which covers up to 15 people.
If you
have more than that, it's an extra $15 per person, to be paid with
your
other dues and fees on Saturday.

This is a UPA sanctioned event, everyone must be a current
member of
pay a $10 exemption fee. We'll have on-line rostering up and running
soon,
and would encourage everyone to use it, it makes our lives much
easier.

We also want to make sure people know that we can't serve
alcohol to
underage people, and you will be required to present ID and get a
bracelet
before you leave the fields. However, this is still a private party,
and
nobody's going to ask you what you're drinking, no matter your age.
Please
just respect our rules, as we take on a huge liability risk throwing
this
bash (700 people, 25 kegs this year), so we need to make a serious
effort to
not serve minors, for obvious reasons.

Please don't drink and drive, there's a reason we offer camping
for
everyone!

thanks, and see you soon...

Alex
