This is due to a mistake that was made in the packaging of 2.0beta1.
2.0beta2 will have a proper version number (1.81)

Potentially, yes, it could be problematic. Basket 2.0 Beta 1 is a
development release after all. Please make sure that you file this
issue at our bug tracker: bugs.kde.org
