Ctrl-C / Ctrl-V already works on windows (even with arabic text and bidi 
stuffs - try it by selecting text in batik such the one in textBidi.svg and 
paste it in wordpad 2000, you will have the proper glyphs).

Copy/Paste also works in swing textfield...
