Hi everyone,

Cool! :-)

A while ago, while crawling through the Batik SVN repository, I did
notice about a foreignObject branch, but I really thought it was
temporary and that code had already been merged into the trunk. Guess
not!... :-D (I really never had tried to make serious use of
foreignObject due to the lack of interoperability among
implementations which currently exits IMO.)

Too bad. It would be really awesome if this extension would be
supporting dynamic updates. But static would already be great to start
with. IMHO this could become a must-have feature which could then help
push out a new Batik release. :-)

Well spotted, Jeremias! :-)

B-)

I really don't know the Batik codebase enough to provide a substantial
help out in this task, but I'll be aware and maybe I might be able
help with less relevant stuff (documentation, testing). ;-)

Cheers,
 Helder
