Batik generally [implements SVG
1.1|https://xmlgraphics.apache.org/batik/status.html] with [some SVG 1.2
features|https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/XMLGRAPHICSBATIK/SupportedSVG12Features].
You may find some features from later drafts, for example
[{{<feDropShadow>}}|https://www.w3.org/TR/SVGFilter12/#feDropShadowElement],
not supported.
As far as I see [mesh gradients were considered for inclusion in SVG
2|https://svgwg.org/svg2-draft/changes.html#pservers] but have been dropped a
long time ago:
