Recently, Batik restricted the loading of external resources due to security
reasons.
However, there is at least this case when the error is not explaining what is
happening and rather a NullPointerException is thrown.
We have verified that the NPE goes away when security restriction is disabled.
Attached is a simple Java application showing the NullPointerException.
