Yes, JASC WebDraw does have a Grouping function which does insert the <g> tag around all the objects. This is the answer to my question. Thanks!

I don't know if WebDraw will let you do this, but you can establish a "group" of objects with the <g> element and apply transformations to them all. The following example will translate and scale both the circle and the rectangle. <g transform="translate(5, 7) scale(2)"> <circle cx="10" cy="10" r="2"/> <rect x="50" y="50" width="10" height="5"/> </g> Is there a "group objects" option in WebDraw?
